Overview
At Cincinnati Horticultural Society, we are committed to your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with an eligible purchase or service made through our organization, you may request a refund within 30 days of the original transaction date.
Eligibility for Refunds
The following may be eligible for a refund:
- Paid consultation services that have not yet been rendered
- Workshop or event registrations canceled with adequate notice
- Program fees for services not yet provided
- Membership fees (prorated based on unused portion)
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Services that have already been fully rendered
- No-show fees for missed appointments without prior notice
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice)
- Customized services or materials created specifically for you
- Donations or charitable contributions
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 30 days of the original transaction date by email at admin@cincinnatiplantsociety.world or by phone at (513) 677-2799.
- Provide the following information:
- Your full name
- Transaction date and amount
- Description of the service or purchase
- Reason for requesting the refund
- Preferred refund method (if different from original payment)
- Await confirmation: Our team will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days.
Refund Review Process
Each refund request will be reviewed individually by our team. We consider factors such as the nature of the service, the reason for the refund request, and the timing of the request. We reserve the right to approve or deny refund requests based on these factors and the terms outlined in this policy.
Processing Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow the following processing times:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days
- Check: 10-14 business days
If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be offered instead of full refunds. This may apply when:
- A portion of the service has already been provided
- Materials or supplies have already been purchased on your behalf
- Administrative or processing costs have been incurred
Cancellation Policy
For scheduled consultations and events, we request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation fee or may not be eligible for a refund.
Exceptions
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you have a special situation that falls outside this policy, please contact us to discuss. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests on a case-by-case basis.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
